Boxing Day Walk 2011

Although a slightly shorter route it was just what the Doctor ordered, a nice walk before lunch. Read all about this year's walk.

For a while now the committee had been scratching their heads looking for an event to plug the Autum gap in our calendar. What better way to do this than something close to their hearts, a Hog Roast !!!

With the promise of good company, good music and great food over 100 members and guests turned up at St Fagans cricket club. This wasn't an evening for formalities and as soon as we were all there, we tucked in. One or two obviously hadn't eaten for a while as they could be seen creeping back up for seconds and even thirds !!!! With the hog despatched, the music quickly started.

Those with more sensitive ears made their way outside on to the balcony, whilst the rest made the dance floor look like an audition for 'Strictly' !!!

On behalf of the committee, we would like to thank everybody for supporting this even and hope to see you again soon.
