"Supporting the Community"

Thanks to an invitation from The Lord Mayor and Creigiau 23 member, Delme Bowen, the February dinner meetting was held in the Lord Mayor's official residence on Richmond Road, Cardiff. The Mansion House provided a lovely setting for a plesant evening.

After a buffet dinner, our guest speaker Lord Dafydd Elis Thomas, gave his honest and in some cases passionate view on how Wales has grown into the nation it is today.

The generosity of the members was again evident with almost £1000 raised by a raffle and auction. The money will go towards the Lord Mayor's chosen charity, Cancer Research Wales.
